How It Works
From Closet to Curb in Three Steps
Plan your Normal pickup online, then set the packed items outside.

Give Clothes Their Own Pickup Plan
The Town of Normal lists bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard among its curbside recyclables. Its separate guide to non-recyclable items points residents to other reuse options for clothing, shoes, and textiles. Keep bagged clothes separate from the Town recycling cart; if our service is available for your address, we can collect eligible items from outside your home on a date you book.
Our pickup instructions differ from the Town's cart schedule: place your tied bags or boxes outside by 8 a.m. on your selected day. We Pickup Clothes is a private, for-profit service, not a Town program. Items given through our service are not tax-deductible, and we do not issue charitable donation receipts.

How do I check pickup availability in Normal?
Enter your ZIP code and address in our online scheduling form. It will show whether we serve your location and which pickup dates are available.
Can I include shoes and worn-out clothes?
Yes. We accept clothes and shoes in any condition. Put them in sturdy, tied bags or boxes; separating them is helpful but not required.
Do I need several bags to book?
No. You can schedule one bag or many. Tell us the approximate number of bags or boxes when you book.
Where do I leave my items on pickup day?
Leave your packed items outside your home in a visible, accessible place by 8 a.m. on your selected pickup day. Do not put them inside the Town recycling cart.
Is this a tax-deductible donation?
No. We Pickup Clothes is a for-profit company, so items given through our service are not tax-deductible and we do not provide charitable donation receipts.
