Can I put clothing in my Urbana U-Cart?
No. The City of Urbana lists textiles and shoes as unacceptable for U-Cycle carts. Our clothing pickup is scheduled separately from city recycling.
Do you take worn-out clothes and shoes?
Yes. We accept clothing and shoes in any condition. Pack them in sturdy, tied bags or boxes; sorting wearable from worn items is optional.
Where should I leave my bags?
Put them outside your Urbana home in a visible, accessible spot by 8 a.m. on your scheduled pickup day.
Is this a charitable donation?
No. We Pickup Clothes is a for-profit company, separate from the City of Urbana. Items given through our service are not tax-deductible, and we do not provide charitable donation receipts.
